 Responsibilities  
 This position is in the Business Analytics and Modeling Solutions team, which solves complex business problems using experimental design and modeling techniques.  Baseline knowledge of SAS is required and COAF will supplement data manipulation skills as needed.  Future management opportunities may exist for the right candidates.    
   
Individuals will partner with different business entities to deliver statistical solutions.  The following functions are necessary and important: 
• Collaboration with business leaders to understand the problem 
• Ability to deliver the right statistical solution at the right level 
• Anticipate timelines and needs, communicating to key stakeholders 
• Manipulate data, build models and assess their quality 
• Communicate results and recommendations to sr. mgt, including next steps 
• Monitor model performance and make recommendations, as needed 
• Design experiments and assess results 
• Identify key statistical/data strategies for lines of business and make influential recommendations 
• Share learnings with other stat team members and across company for exposure and recognition 
• Documentation of results for future referral 
• Experience with logistic regression is a must, while knowledge in some of the following areas is extremely helpful: time series, survival analysis, cluster analysis, categorical data analysis, decision trees, multivariate methodologies, non-parametric techniques, design of experiments, principal components, neural nets

 Qualifications  
 Required:  Graduate degree in statistics, econometrics, advanced math, or similar analytical field; SAS programming experience; detail oriented and self motivated; strong analytical skills 
Preferred:  3+ years of hands-on modeling experience; financial services industry experience; strong SAS skills; presentation experience to sr. mgt; ability to work independently; experience leading model builds of significant impact spanning multiple areas and individuals; responsive, team-oriented personality style; experience with relational databases
